The web site records some of the forgotten services and industries that made Birmingham a world leader, as well as some of the well known industries and services that still exist within the city today. The web site was started on March 22nd 2005 If you are interested in any way in Birmingham Industrial history, please join us! Eventually this group will be the basis for the start of The Birmingham Industrial History Society which will form in 2007.
